What you should know about Primary School :

- A child in Singapore undergoes six years of primary education, comprising a four-year foundation stage from primary 1 to 4 and two – year orientation stage from Primary 5 to 6.
- At foundation stage, the core curriculum comprising English, the Mother Tongue and Mathematics are taught, with supplementary subject such as a Music, Art & Craft, Physical Education and Social Studies. Science is included from Primary 3. To maximize their potential, students are streamed according to their learning ability before advancing to the orientation stage. At the end of Primary 6, students sit for Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE).
No direct admission is allowed to Primary 6 level as the students will not have sufficient preparation time for the Primary School Leaving Examination held towards the end of the year.

What you should know about Secondary School::
- Secondary schools in Singapore can be government funded, government aided or independent.
- Students attend four or five years of secondary education under Special, Express or Normal Course. The Special and express courses prepare for students for the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education ‘Ordinary’ (GCE ‘O’) Level examination in four years. Students in the Normal course can opt for the Academic or Technical stream, both of which prepare students for the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education ‘Normal’ (GCE ‘N’) Level examination after four years of study and upon satisfactory completion, the GCE ‘O’ Level examination in the fifth year.
- Secondary education curriculum includes English, the Mother Tongue, Mathematics, Science and the Humanities. At Secondary 3, students can opt for electives of their choice, depending on whether they are in Arts, Science, Commerce or Technical stream. Singapore’s secondary school curriculum is recognized worldwide for its ability to develop students with the critical thinking and intellectual skills. Foreign students are accepted at secondary schools subject to availability of vacancies.
No direct admission is allowed to SEC 4 level as the students will not have sufficient preparation time for the GCE ‘O’ and GCE ‘N’ level.
Polytechnics were established in Singapore to offer students practice-oriented studies at the diploma level.. There are currently five polytechnics in Singapore:
- Nanyang Polytechnic
- Ngee Ann Polytechnic
- Singapore Polytechnic
- Temasek Polytechnic
- Republic Polytechnic
- Assist the International Students to register for Preparatory Course at an Edutrust Certified Private Language School.
- Provide information about the respective schools’’ tuition fees and other miscellaneous fees.

Government School/Junior College/ Polytechnic/ Local or Overseas University/International School
- For admission to the Government School, we will assist the International Students to register the Admission Exercise for International Students (AEIS) and Supplementary Admission Exercise for International Students (S – AEIS) Transportation will be provided for the International Students on the examination day.
- Once the International Students had passed AEIS / S – AEIS, we will register them to the school where they are posted.
- For entry to the Junior College (JC) and Polytechnics, we will assist the International Students to submit the relevant documents and application forms to the respective schools. They would have sit and passed a placement test before they can be admitted to the school subject to the vacancies available.
- For entry to the Local or Overseas University, we will assist the International Students to apply to the Universities here and abroad.
